1 pheasant, disjointed seasoned flour 1/2 c. shortening 2 c. sliced onions 1 c. milk |

Roll pheasant pieces in seasoned flour & brown in Dutch oven slowly on both sides in hot fat, turning once. Top w/ sliced onions, pour in milk, cover tightly & cook over low heat (or bake in 325 oven) until tender about 1 hr.
