12 Red Peppers 2 c sugar 12 Green Peppers 2 c vinegar 12 Onions 3 T salt |

Chop peppers and onions. Cover with boiling water, let stand 5 minutes; drain. Add vinegar, sugar and salt; boil 5 minutes. Place in jars and seal. |

I think this may be the German relish recipe requested by Joann, Myrtle Beach in the September 16, 2007 Newsletter. We call it Miller Relish as that is the family name of my friend who shared it with me. He Dad always grew their own vegetables to make it with every year and they serve it on beans. HD Kansas |
